Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA)

I am a member of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes.

If you follow me and know that I love photography, you might be aware that I was accepted at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I love my art and the opportunity to be creative. IAIA will be a great season of growth for me. I am also super excited about all that I will learn at this time and what I will learn from my fellow IAIA students. My tribe needs more educated artists to tell our story through film, painting, sculpting, poetry, literature, journalism, music, dance, theatre culinary arts and of course PHOTOGRAPHY.

Like other students, and especially art students, it's going to be challenging to cover the cost of tuition. One year at IAIA is approximately $20,000. I am hoping to get support from my tribe and I've applied for the American Indian College Fund Scholarship. I am looking for other sources of support through scholarships. If you know any options out there, please let me know. For anyone who can help with my tuition in some small way, you can support me here.
